Boise Entrepreneur Week is proud to present the 6th Annual Trailmix Pitch Competition. Trailmix helps food and beverage startups take their products from the farmers market to the supermarket. Applicants will compete for a chance at winning $50,000 in prize money and shelf space at Albertsons’ Broadway store, with the potential for expansion into other regional stores, depending on sales. $5,000 will be awarded to the runner-up.
Last year, our judges awarded the grand prize of $50,000 to Big Sandy Organics, an organic snack company. Three Sisters Artisanal Meats took home the runner-up prize of $5,000. The screening process will result in five finalists who will be paired with industry mentors to prepare for their final pitch. Food companies that are not chosen to pitch will be invited to participate in Boise Entrepreneur Week’s Food Expo. Finalists will pitch their product on Wednesday, October 4th at 5PM at JUMP.
